Target 14: The importance of plant diversity and the need for its conservation incorporated into communication, educational and public awareness programmes

Plants are the basis for life on earth. For the future of all species, it is vital that the importance of plant diversity and the need for their conservation is recognised. In the UK the focus is on formal and informal education and awareness raising at all levels, in particular amongst children, other students, policy makers and the general public.
