Objective 4: Promoting education and awareness about plant diversity

Plants and fungi are often considered the ‘poor relations’ in conservation terms and yet they are the very essence of life on earth. Raising awareness of the importance of these species and their habitats, the issues impacting on their survival and the role that we all need to play is therefore fundamental to plant conservation, both amongst those who set and implement policies and the general public.
