Objective 5: Building capacity for the conservation of plant diversity

There is a large amount of work to be done to ensure that the targets outlined in Plant Diversity Challenge are met by 2010 and that this work continues in the future. Ensuring that in the UK there are the skills, knowledge and capacity to undertake this work and that all those involved in plant conservation link up and communicate effectively to make best use of time and resources will be vital to achieve this.
