A lichen "coral reef"...

Plantlife Cymru has been able to secure funds from the Welsh Government to undertake a wide variety of developmental work that will enable us to deliver more for plants and people in the future.

Amongst the areas to be covered are a review of Cennad, our lichen training scheme, and a proposal for Cennad 2, developing an invasives project on the Brecon Cliffs and another restoration project for the limestone grasslands and heathlands near to the Great Orme.

A prioritisation of Wales’s Important Plant Area’s for both conservation and outreach potential to result in the development of a minimum of 2 new project ideas. We also want to build on our work on meadows ensuring that we are at the leading edge for delivery of meadows activity including the continued support and development of meadows groups and the option to re-establish the programme around Coronation Meadows

It promises to be a very busy autumn and winter!

What we do is only made possible by your generosity and support.
