Road verge in Dorset

We have been thrilled by the reaction to our Road Verge Campaign so far this summer. You and the many other people who care about wildlife have signed and shared the petition, so we are now over 46,000 signatures!

And that means councillors are taking notice. We’ve been overwhelmed by their requests for advice on bringing nature back to verges. In fact, there are so many asking for our help that we need to recruit an extra member of our small team to give them hands-on expert advice.

This is such an exciting time for roadside wild flowers! Thanks to you, we’re on the verge of achieving so many of our ambitions. Please will you help? You can make a one off donation or a regular one. If you make a regular donation, we’ll send you a wildflower identification book as a thank you. When asked how you heard about us just put ‘Road Verges’.

If we raise the money, our expert adviser will transform the way verges are managed throughout the country, bringing back colour and providing space for all the bees, bugs and butterflies which rely on wild flowers. Please help us take this extra step.

What we do is only made possible by your generosity and support.

Please consider one of the following to help cover our costs:
