Discovering meadow plants at Cae Blaen Dyffryn

A practical afternoon for NPMS (National Plant Monitoring Scheme) Volunteers.

A walk around the beautiful Cae Blaen Dyffryn reserve in Carmarthenshire. We will be spotting common meadow plants as well as those indicator species which can tell us more about the habitat and condition of the reserve. You’ll also have the opportunity to practise your survey skills and get up close and personal with one of Wales’s rare wild flowers – the lesser butterfly orchid.
