EXMOOR - Discover Exmoor's Lichens 2019
Exmoor is nationally renowned for its beautiful and diverse lichens with names such as tree lungwort and string-of-sausages. Come and discover how to identify some of the lichens common in Exmoor’s woodlands.
This event is aimed at people with no previous experience of lichens and is run by Plantlife’s Heritage Lottery funded Building Resilience in SW Woodlands project in association with Exmoor National Park Authority who are project partners.
Bring drinks and snacks and a packed lunch to eat on our walk. Parking is available behind the shops in Malmsmead and there is a charge so bring change. Toilets are available at the car park only.
Booking is essential as places are limited. Cost £5 per person - which contributes to the CareMoor for Exmoor scheme, supporting heritage, nature and access projects on Exmoor. Discounts available for registered Exmoor National Park volunteers. Book your place through Exmoor National Park:
