The Carrifran Wildwood Project, Nr Moffat, Borders - Guided Walk

Be inspired by Carrifran, ‘The Seat of the Ravens’ in the Moffat Hills. This project aims to re-create an extensive tract of mainly forested wilderness with most of the rich diversity of native species present in this area before human activities became dominant. Join us on this walk led by one of the Carrifran volunteers, to find out more about this exciting project, and see the difference between the ‘dull and denuded ovine desert’ of the surrounding area, and the lush, species-rich restored woodland and other habitats of Carrifran. Project book ‘The Carrifran Story’ will be available to buy on the day for £10 (all profits go to the project).

Booking is essential via scotland@plantlife.org.uk or phone 01786 478509
