Fenlands are rare, peaty wetland habitats found mostly in isolated pockets across lowland Britain. The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads are perhaps exceptions, where the landscape has escaped drainage and conversion to agriculture. Fenlands are rich with unusual wild flowers, from carnivorous sundews to the star-like beauty of Grass of Parnassus.
