Getting here

Set on the edge of Medway, Ranscombe is ideally placed for visitors coming from near or far, with the M2 motorway and national rail connections on our doorstep.

How to get there:

On foot

There are numerous footpaths from Strood, Cuxton and Cobham.

The main entrance is just under 1 mile from Cuxton station on the Medway Valley Line. Strood station, served by the High Speed Rail Service and the North Kent Coast line, is 2 miles away, and close to the 140, 141 and 151 bus routes.

There is a small car-park at the main entrance on the A228 Sundridge Hill, very close to junction 2 of the M2 motorway. Additional parking is available in the car-park near the reserve entrance on Albatross Avenue in Strood.

Bus route 151 from the Medway Towns runs regularly through the week. The nearest bus-stop to the reserve’s main entrance is on Sundridge Hill by Pilgrims Way. Bus routes 140 and 141 from the Medway Towns run frequently to Bligh Way shops, close to the reserve entrance on Albatross Avenue.
