Alpine Forget-me-not (Myosotis alpestris)

Alpine Forget-me-not (Myosotis alpestris)

The unforgettably blue flowers of this prettiest of Forget-me-nots are confined in England to a few limestone hill-tops in the North Pennines. The old county of Westmorland has most of them.

Habitat: rocky limestone hilltops. Flowers: July-August.
