Welcome to the 2008 Plantlife Photographic Competition, which has the theme of 'Wild plants of the UK through the seasons'.

This is your chance to have your photographs featured in our 20th anniversary calendar as we will be choosing 12 winning images to feature in a special calendar for 2009. One lucky overall winner will also receive a digital camera as the top prize for the competition.

We are looking for a range of images that cover the wild plants and fungi of the UK and represent the seasons of the year.

Be creative – be inventive – dig deep in your archives – and send us images that show plants and fungi in all their glory, in all types of weather at different times of the year.

Click here for our rules and guidelines on how to enter – or scroll down this page to see them in full below - and please do read these before entering your images for the competition.

The deadline for entries is 15th August so get snapping!

You can email your digital images by clicking here.

If you have any further questions after reading the rules and guidelines, please call us on 01722 342730.

5. Entries must be taken in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.

6. Images must not be manipulated except to remove spots or scratches. We reserve the right to exclude any image.
