Species dossiers

Welcome to Plantlife's species dossiers. This page provides easy access to a wealth of detailed information on rare British plants. This will include identification, distribution, ecology, threats and management, as well as ideas, contacts and research areas. New dossiers will be added and existing ones updated on an ongoing basis.

To access the species dossiers click on the PDF icon in each section. The summary will give you a brief outline of the species, whereas the dossier will provide a more comprehensive profile.

To open the files you will need to have the latest Adobe PDF Reader loaded onto your machine. Click here to go to the Adobe website.

Because the PDF files are in some cases quite large, they may take some time to download from the internet.
