Microglossum olivaceum Olive Earth-tongue
This olive green fungus belongs to the group called Earth-tongues, as they are small tongue or finger-like growths, usually in grass.
It likes to grow in short turf in pastures, lawns or churchyards, or sea cliffs and has also been recorded from woodland margins under Yew trees. The main threat is habitat destruction or improvement through fertiliser application, or by scrub encroachment due to lack of grazing or mowing.
