As an insurance broker Evergreen earns commission from insurers for placing business with them, I don’t want to be greedy about income and don’t have shareholders concerned about the bottom line - it is a business so need to make an income from Evergreen but also doing the right thing and supporting our environment. For every £1 in commission I earn, I donate 10% in yr / 15% in yr 2 and 25% in yr 3 and for the lifetime of the policy to help support Plantlife as well as other charities.”
