Gipsywort Lycopus europaeus

Tiny white flowers nestle in ruff-like swirls at the base of each leaf along the length of the stem.

The leaves are more dominant, are pointed and have striking jagged edges.


Widespread in the south of Britain but also found elsewhere in limited areas.


Prefers damps places such as river banks, ditches and marshes.
