No woodland walk is complete without seeing a fern growing on the forest floor, out of a crevice in a stone wall, or on the branches of an old tree. This self-guided course helps you to both develop your fern identification skills, and learn more about their evolutionary history and cultural significance.
This interactive toolkit is aimed at woodland owners and managers. It will help you understand the key conservation issues affecting temperate rainforest lichens and bryophytes, and provides a framework for managing temperate rainforest for these important species.

This course for agriculture students looks at nature friendly grassland management. Grassland makes up 85% of agricultural land in Wales, so understanding how it can be managed sustainably to both support farmers with high quality food production, and for biodiversity, is vital for our next generation of Welsh farmers.
