Plantlife and Lidl bring wildflowers in store

In May 2022, Plantlife and Lidl brought our Every Flower Counts campaign in store, to inspire action for biodiversity in gardens across the UK.  The campaign encouraged Lidl customers to go wild with a range of gardening products, a free seed giveaway and expert advice. Participants could also track the difference they made by calculating their ‘Personal Nectar Score’, which showed how much nectar their garden was producing and how many pollinators this would feed.

Working with businesses who share our values and ambitions is critical to securing a world rich in plants and fungi; the complexity and urgency of the challenges ahead demand a collaborative approach. Effective partnerships can facilitate engagement with new audiences, provide resources to support conservation work and influence working practices, enabling people from all sectors of society to contribute to positive change.
